It's that time of the year again and my son Mason is hitting me up for support with band and school activities at Bob Courtway. He's playing the saxophone this year and my wallet is hurting.
Fortunately there is a magazine sale fund drive to help the band out. You can help support my son and the band with a relatively cheap subscription to popular magazines.
Proceeds fund field trips and activities for the kids so they can get real world experience in the music field. Things like visits to music museums and not only getting to see a live professional orchestra play but get to talk to the orchestra members as well.
These kind of events which wouldn't be possible without public support, inspire and motivate these youngsters. And inspired youngsters play better music at ball games!
